Time To Face the Music

Everyone knows puppets are a demanding act to perform. Even when you get it right, there's something... off about them. Something not quite human. They dance and gesture for our amusement, but they're nothing to worry about, right? It's not like they can take your children... or can they?

This is an unorthodox take combining vampires, tulpas, and puppets. It contains a variety of locations, a monster's backstory with 2 different forms of minions, and even a differing-form monster depending on how quickly the victims catch on.
